Custom 304 stainless steel anode tube bundles for wet electrostatic precipitators. Economical hexagonal honeycomb bundle for PM2.5, tar mist, oil mist and fine particulate removal in mildly corrosive flue gas.
304 Stainless Steel Anode Tube Bundle
Our 304 stainless steel anode tube bundle is an economical collecting electrode assembly for wet electrostatic precipitators and electric tar precipitators. It consists of multiple hexagonal 304 stainless steel anode tubes, upper and lower frames, stiffening plates, flange connections and supporting structures, forming a complete grounded anode system for WESP operation.
304 stainless steel offers good general corrosion resistance, stable electrical conductivity, good formability and weldability. When assembled into a honeycomb tube bundle, it provides a compact collecting electrode structure with uniform electric field distribution and reliable tar mist, oil mist and PM2.5 removal performance. This makes it especially suitable for industrial flue gas systems where moisture, tar mist, oil mist and fine particulate matter are present, but chloride content and acid corrosion are relatively low.
Cost-effective stainless steel option: 304 provides reliable corrosion resistance for mildly corrosive wet gas environments at a lower material cost than 316L or 2205.
Good formability: easy to process into hexagonal honeycomb tubes, supporting compact bundle design and efficient space utilization.
Stable conductivity: stainless steel surface maintains consistent electrical performance, supporting uniform corona discharge and stable particle collection.
Smooth inner surface: polished tube walls help form a continuous water film, improving flushing efficiency and reducing tar or dust buildup.
Complete tube bundle assembly: delivered as a pre-assembled anode tube bundle with frames and stiffening plates, reducing on-site assembly workload and improving installation accuracy.
Suitable for low-chloride applications: recommended when flue gas has low chloride ion concentration, low acid mist carryover and moderate operating temperature.
Hexagonal honeycomb tube bundle: multiple 304 stainless steel tubes are arranged into a compact bundle, improving space utilization and electric field uniformity.
Grounded collecting electrode: the anode tube bundle is connected to ground and serves as the precipitation surface for charged particles and mist droplets.
Cooperation with discharge electrode: a central discharge electrode generates corona discharge, charging PM2.5, tar mist, oil mist, water droplets and fine particles.
Wet flushing cleaning: circulating water or process liquid washes captured pollutants from the inner tube wall into the drain, preventing fouling and maintaining stable operation.

Wuxi Xinchangyuan Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. manufactures stainless steel WESP anode tube bundles and complete anode modules for industrial flue gas and exhaust treatment. Our capabilities include laser cutting, CNC forming, plate rolling, automatic welding, tube bundle assembly, module integration and on-site installation support. 304 stainless steel anode tube bundles, supporting frames, discharge electrode systems and flushing systems can be customized according to project gas composition, tar load, temperature and installation requirements.
What is the difference between an anode tube bundle and an anode module?
An anode tube bundle refers to the assembled group of hexagonal tubes with frames and stiffening plates, while an anode module may include additional connection structures, insulation supports and complete installation interfaces.
When is 304 stainless steel suitable for WESP anode tube bundles?
304 is suitable for mildly corrosive wet gas with low chloride content, low acid mist carryover and moderate operating temperature.
Can 304 anode tube bundles be used for tar mist removal?
Yes. They are widely used in electric tar precipitators and WESP systems to remove tar mist, oil mist, PM2.5 and fine particulate matter.
What is the main limitation of 304 compared with 316L or 2205?
304 has lower resistance to chloride pitting and stress corrosion cracking. In high-chloride or acidic wet flue gas, 316L or 2205 is usually recommended.
Can the anode tube bundle be customized?
Yes. Tube diameter, length, wall thickness, bundle quantity, material grade and connection structure can be customized according to actual process conditions.
